Flute Studio - Payment Policies
Flute Studio Policies
Lessons are paid for in advance, by the month (paid in the first week of the month). Your
payment reserves your time-slot for the next month. A $5 late fee applies if the payment
is received after the 1st week ($10 if after the 2nd week). If the lesson payment is not
received by the 3rd scheduled lesson, you will forfeit your time slot. You are responsible
for attending the lessons at the scheduled time unless you make prior arrangements with
me to re-schedule.
A newsletter will be produced each month with information and a schedule for all student
lessons.
If you have an unexpected/short-term conflict with a lesson time and wish to change your
lesson time for that week, please contact another student on the schedule and try to
switch with them before calling me. Scheduling changes will be made on a first-come,
first-served basis and is dependent on the time-slot availability. If you cancel your lesson
and are unable to either switch with another student, or reschedule with me, you will forfeit
payment for that lesson. I do not provide make-up lessons, and do not carry over payment
for future lessons or refund lessons not taken. If you do not feel that you are able to
maintain your lesson time, please let me know right away so that I can allow another
student to have that spot.
If I miss your lesson for any reason, I will provide a make-up lesson or credit the next
months fee, whichever you prefer.
For all new students, a $10 photocopy fee is payable and covers costs of photocopies
and a binder, provided by me for the 1st year.
If for any reason you feel that I am not exceeding your expectations, you may discontinue
lessons at any time.
